The Calibre Register was formed in 1995 in order to establish how many Cavalier Calibres were still in use. The Calibre Register quickly turned into a thriving car club and in May 1996 became one of the founder members of the Vauxhall Bedford Opel Association, which allows all member clubs close links with Vauxhall Motors Ltd. At the Billing Aquadrome show in July 2001 we decided to re-launch the club as Club Irmscher UK and include all other Irmscher models.

Club Irmscher UK covers all Irmscher specials produced by Vauxhall and Opel, including the Nova Sport and Spider, Cavalier Calibre, Vectra Supertouring, Opel Manta i200 i240 i300 and 400. Production cars such as the Vectra GSi, Omega MV6 are also allowed to join.

Club Irmscher is officially recognised by Irmscher UK Ltd.
